Oliver's Feline Infectious Peritonitis Treatment
Donation protected
Oliver is my 3 year old cat. He's my super special boy -- I've never had a cat with a personality as big as his. He's incredibly affectionate and usually full of so much energy, and he loves to make trouble. His favorite place is sitting on my shoulder. Unfortunately, he has been diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis, or FIP. The outcome of FIP is almost always fatal if untreated. The treatment has a good success rate but is expensive, however, and I live on disability, so my funds are very limited. I've already stretched myself thin getting him the care he's needed thus far. I'm at over $1,000 spent already.
He's still young and I want him to have as full and long of a life as he can. I want the chance to cherish him for as many years as he will give me. He's also a major source of support for me. I struggle with depression and my cats have always been a significant source of strength for me. I still need him, and I want to see him grow old and lazy.
Treatment is 84 days long and my current estimate is $1,260 minimum. I also will need supplies and further blood tests, so I've set my goal to $2,000 in anticipation of that. Any and all help is deeply appreciated. Thank you.
