Oliver Family Head Fire Loss

Donation protected
On August 15th the Oliver Family encountered an unimaginable loss as they fell victim to the Head Fire of Siskiyou County. The family's patriarch and heart, tragically passed away in the fire. Ken Oliver died in his home that night at the age of 71. Ken's wife Diane was able to escape the fire and was found disoriented on the road with a wet t-shirt wrapped around her head by firecrews. She was immediately life flighted to a trauma hospital in Portland and is being treated for burns that cover 50% of her body. If that wasn't enough devastation for one night, the fire also took their home, 3 dogs and every belonging they had accumulated together for the last 55 years. The loss is unfathomable.
Ken and Diane's 3 children (Savana, Elan & Chris) dropped everything to fly and drive to Oregon to break the news to Diane that Ken didn't make it and to be by her side for the next steps in what's to come for the family. Life will never be the same.
Savana, Chris & Elan all have families of their own, jobs and expenses that are being pushed to the side to make sure Diane has all of the support it takes to recover and heal.
There is an immediate need for financial support to help the entire family.
These funds will be used to help their mother and be physically available without the stress of needing to be back to work right away. Along with just the direct needs of the family any funds available will be used to help with Diane's medical bills, the rebuilding of her life and funeral costs for Ken.
If you know this family, you know the pride they have in their community and the support they have always given. The term "lifer" exemplifies what they were to their small-town community. Now more than ever.
We know that times are hard for so many and that there are many devastating events taking place right now with the need for financial assistance. If you are able, please donate what you can. If not, please share this story...please pray, meditate and send love with healing support their way. It's appreciated beyond words.
They are a broken family yet strong in their bond and love for one another. They will rise from the ashes but need help getting back on their feet.
