My name is Chris West and I am walking across America.

All funds raised will be going towards food, park/campground fees, emergency lodging, and shoes and other replacement gear. Any surplus of funds at the end of this extraordinary journey will be donated to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America. 

This trip quickly grew from an idea into a goal while dealing with my own bouts of depression. I became fascinated by long distance hiking and reading about others who have trekked coast to coast. And on March 13th I am making my dream a reality!

I will be extremely grateful and appreciative of any and all donations.  I plan to document my trip as much as possible with a blog and other social media accounts. If you are interested in following my progress, I will be posting links soon.
