Hi..my name is Annie Ellis. I am a dear friend and former Nanny for Dianne and Dave Dysthe Burrell and Gracie and Mia. I began taking care of Gracie when she was 8 months old and have helped care for Mia since birth.
Dianne has finally agreed that we (as her friends and family) may start this GoFundMe account for them. I would like her to see how this will help her family during these difficult times, and help carry them through times ahead as well. I know she will feel comforted to know that financial support is available.
For anyone who doesnt know the Burrell family, Dianne is a beautiful mother of two precious little girls. She was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer about a year ago and has been fighting furiously. The need for financial support is obvious, as she has had a permanent loss of income..which her family has depended upon. Im also hoping to allow for her husband Dave to take as much time off as needed and able when times get tough.
I realize the goal is very large, however I feel no goal is too large, as well as no gift is too small! (or too big of course!) I know that all of Dianne's dear friends and family have helped in so many ways, and that many will want to contribute to this worthy funding campaign as well. Go Fund Me and WePay do take a small percentage of your contribution, so please keep this in mind when making contributions, that you are ok with this. You can view their policy at their site. Basically, it adds up to about 8%. Please be assured that every penny raised other than these fees is going directly to Dianne and Dave.
