Oakridge - Where's the Beef?

Oakridge Disciple House, located in Florence, TX, offers men a 6 month residency program to turn their life around. Most men arrive at the ridge broken and struggling with alcohol, drug addiction and all that comes with that lifestyle. They typically have no way to pay for help so the program is funded through private donors. This model has repeatedly proven effective at changing behavior because it focuses on changing a man's heart, not just his behavior. The power of Jesus Christ is the answer these men are looking for and they have a chance to realize this during their time on the ridge.

Food is an ongoing need for Oakridge and meat is expensive. Our goal is to raise $2,500 to provide 3 processed and packaged animals to stock their freezers. The more we raise, the more meat we'll provide. 100% of your contribution will go directly to putting meat on the table. Linda and I have supported this ministry financially and as teachers for eight years. It's a worthy cause I hope you will support.
