Wheelchair

Greg White is a childhood friend who, because he was older, taught me and our buddies a lot about baseball, life and appreciating nature. 

 Greg grew up to create several wildlife documentaries all of which he films, writes, produces and narrates himself.  I even had the pleasure of helping him shoot scenes for one of his wildlife films in Yosemite and the surrounding areas.  One of my favorites of Greg's works is his film about the History of Calaveras County .
It's probably a favorite because it's where Greg and I grew up.

 Anyway, I was speaking with Greg just before the holidays and asked what he'd been up to and asked if he was working on a new film. He told me instead he was saving for a new wheelchair. 

 You see, Greg fell out of the back of his dad's truck when he was a teenager and has spent his adult life in a leg brace. About 15 years ago, his condition worsened  and he's been confined to a wheelchair ever since.

So, in the spirit of giving and all the promise of a positive 2021, I thought what if I could organize some generous souls to raise enough money to get Greg a new set of wheels.  He's such a talented, and great guy who means a lot to me and I would love to see Greg working on his next project instead of worrying about saving for a new wheelchair.
