Help me go to Junior Worlds!

Hi!
My name is Avital Shimko and I am an 18 year old freestyle mogul skier competing for the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club's High Performance Team. I have been competing moguls since the age of 6! I grew up in New York City, and skied out of Stratton, Vermont. When I was 14 I was the youngest American to qualify for junior worlds in Finland. Unfortunatley that did not go as planned. I had great training days leading up to the competition and literally 5 minutes before the competition started I under-rotated a back flip to my stomach and tore my spleen. It's taken me 4 years to re-qualify for junior worlds, and here I am asking for help to chase my dreams to Italy!!
The last four years have had their ups and downs, but I'm feeling stronger than ever! I graduated high school last year and made the best decision of my life>> to continue to ski! This decision has lead me to put all my focus on skiing and has given me the opportunity to physically and mentally strengthen my talents in skiing and learn other valuable life lessons!
I could not thank my family and friends enough for giving me this oppurtunity! They have supported me through all the ups and downs, and always keep me laughing!
I can't wait to go to junior worlds and make each and every one of you proud!! Thank you all for your support!
If you would like to help me get there, every dollar and kind word goes a long way!
Love to all!
Thanks again!
