Global Young Leaders Conference Fundraiser

My name is Eliana Stafford-Gaffney and I am currently completing year 11 at St Ives high school. I have been nominated and invited to attend the 2019 Global Young Leaders Conference being held in Washington, D.C and New York this June/July. GYLC is an event where high-achieving students learn global leadership experience with other students from around the world. Through this event I can gain a global perspective through interaction with other students, meet national and international leaders and immerse myself into a challenging curriculum that will further develop my leadership skills. This opportunity will also provide me with the chance to receive two college credits at George Mason University, as well as experience the American culture and explore the cities I will be attending.

To participate in this experience, there is a tuition fee of roughly AU$9,600. Financially, this is unachievable by my family alone, and I was hoping my community may be able to help me fundraise. I don't want to take money away from those who need it for serious life issues, but was hoping some people may be able to spare a few dollars to give me the chance at this opportunity. Any amount is greatly appreciated and I am grateful for everyone's support and love!
