As many of you may have heard, the Grant family recently suffered a terrible tragedy when 2-year old Gianni and his mother Brit were in a car accident several weeks ago. Gianni lost his life and Brit is now seriously injured and struggling to move on after losing her child. 

Brit's mother Linda, sister Makala, and other family and friends have been stepping up to take care of Brit and to help the family through this difficult time. Linda needs help to support her daughter until she gets back on her feet, including money for food and medical expenses resulting from the accident and amputation of part of Brit's arm.

If you don't know her, Linda is a comrade and Black revolutionary from Oakland who always seems to have everyone's back. She is so strong and reliable and for *once* she is asking for our support. Please contribute generously to this fund to help her and her family get through this tragedy. Let's give this family one less thing to worry about.
