Hello, we are a small virtual production company known as Not So Staged Readings! Our company is dedicated to bringing actors, playwrights, and directors together over a digital interface to put on staged readings in the virtual realm. We are living in a time in which live theatre has been halted to a stand still. As theatre students, we wanted to find a way in which our art could be practiced in a different capacity to keep our spirits going during shelter-in-place.
Not So Staged Readings operates over Zoom Webinar, allowing us to connect with artists and audiences anywhere in the world, giving them access to new and exciting content from up and coming playwrights in the form of a virtual show. We operate entirely on our own, and as two college students out of work at this time, need all the help we can get.
Zoom Webinar has a monthly fee of $55.00. Additionally, while we do not make any personal profit off of this production project, but we hope that in the near future, with your help, we might be able to offer monetary compensation to the playwrights that kindly allow us use of their work.
