NOLS International Staff Unemployment Fund

This fund raiser is set up to help ALL international staff that work for NOLS that are currently unemployed due to the Covid pandemic. Currently staff furloughed from NOLS from countries outside the US are not able to receive unemployment compensation. I consider myself very lucky that I am furloughed from my current position and able to receive unemployment compensation because I am a US citizen. However, so many staff that I believe are the heart and soul of NOLS and are the backbone of every campus at the school are without work and without pay. My wife and I are going to contribute one week's worth of our unemployment to this fund which totals to approximately $1700. Please join us in this worthwhile cause to support these amazing individuals so that they can continue to be able reach their goals and return to working for NOLS when it is fully operational again.
All proceeds from this page will be evenly distributed amongst international staff in need.  For example, ($50,000 / 50 = $ 1000 each) to help each of them as much as possible during this uncertainty. If we exceed our goal, or if there are more staff that contact me in need of assistance, we will continue to evenly split all funds.
