NOC Legal Fund

Since 2013, The Nerds of Color has been a place for fans from diverse communities to come together and explore pop culture from a different perspective. NOC has been a labor of love and its growth over that time was both amazing and unexpected. With that growth, though, came unwanted attention as well. As our presence on the internet has grown, some individuals have tried to intimidate our organization through legal threats and challenges.

Starting last year, we have had to deal with multiple potential lawsuits and I have had to hire lawyers to respond appropriately to those allegations.

These issues and related legal fees have made continuing the site practically untenable. This is why we are asking for your help. Anything you can donate to our legal fund will help The Nerds of Color continue to be an advocate for diverse and critical voices on the internet and beyond.
