Continuing Respite and Final Care
Donation protected
Hi Everyone,
Welcome to my newly revised page, thank you for visiting.
As you all know, the past 3 years have been a whirlwind of diagnoses’, treatments, traveling, clinical trials, side effects, learning and loving.
The time has come that my condition is not responding to treatments and I an ineligible for chemo, radiation or clinical trial drugs any longer.
So….I am home. Frank is not working to stay with me full time, and he is a great husband and caregiver.
Yes, I said husband! We got married Saturday, December 3rd in a beautiful, intimate ceremony right here at the house and were blessed to be surrounded by loved ones for some fantastic memories.
I am revising my page to reflect more recent developments and to revise our mission, so to speak.
As I mentioned before, Frank is out of work to care for me full time. We are relying solely on donations and my social security at this point.
Another goal we have is to continue building a scholarship for our son, Ivan. He has been receiving art therapy services and really enjoys it. The scholarship will be helpful for Ivan to have opportunity to pursue continuing education. He is thirsty for knowledge and we are excited to provide as many memories and experiences we can for him.
In addition to our plea for help, we would also like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone for their generosity. We have had such an outpouring of love, it really is a blessing.
We hope you all have a great holiday and fantastic, healthy new year.
