Nick Campanella

This GoFundMe page is being set up to help my Godson, Nick Campanella, who was involved in a tragic car accident, late Saturday night, November 2nd. After a fun filled night, with his sister, cousins, and friends at Six Flags Great Adventure, Nick was driving home around midnight, with his sister Valentina, cousin Peter, and friend Antonella, when his car was struck from behind while at a traffic light. Before stepping out of his car, to assess the seemingly minor damage, Nick told all of his passengers to stay in the car so he could check everything out and talk to the other driver. While Nick was looking at the damage to his vehicle, another car slammed into the back of the vehicle that had originally hit his, pinning Nick and trapping him between the two cars. Nick was airlifted to the nearest trauma center, where sadly, his left leg had to be amputated. Nick lost large amounts of
blood, and has already had several blood transfusions. Doctors say he will need a series of operations and is currently under extremely close monitoring in a trauma intensive care unit, where he is heavily sedated and on a breathing tube. The next 48 hours are very critical for Nick. He faces a long road ahead of him, but with all of our support we know he will do it. Family is everything to Nick, and our family is deeply saddened and hurting right now. We kindly ask that you please help us in any way you can during this very difficult time. Thank you very much.
