Nick Bowden’s Rehabilitation

Hi, my name is Amber and I am fundraising for my Uncle Nick.

Nick was diagnosed with cancer of the osophogus early this year. He has undergone 3 months of chemotherapy and then removal of the tumour.

During recovery from this 7 hour operation his breathing deteriorated and on CT scan it was discovered his lung had flipped over 180 degrees.

Nick was rushed to the J.R where he underwent surgery to straighten the lung. The following day he got a pulmonary blood clot and had to have his left lung removed.

Nick is now in ICTU fighting an infection in his right lung and has now undergone a tracheotomy. Nick is very poorly and will require months of rehabilitation.

My Uncle Nick is the strongest, bravest person I know. We as a family are praying he gets through this.
