New Lungs for Rick!

My dad is in need of new lungs.  He has pulmonary hypertension, severe COPD and congestive heart failure.  

He and his wife Marilyn have recently traveled to Boston to meet with a team of doctors to come up with a plan for a lung transplant to give him another chance at life.   They  live on a very limited income and will need a lot of support to get him the medical care he needs.  Prior to the transplant he will have many expenses to prepare him for a surgery of this size.  He will need vaccinations, dental work and lots of tests done. There will a lot of medical bills and insurance won't cover it all.   They will also have a lot of travel expenses as they will be traveling back and forth to Boston both before the surgery and regularly during recovery.  

My father has always been a kind and generous man.  He has always given back to others, volunteering as a firefighter for over ten years and directing a junior fife and drum corps for 20.  He was dedicated to his fife and drum corps, traveling every weekend from April until October and practicing every week.  He would often pay out of pocket to make sure that every kid in his corps got to travel and participate fully.  He is now in need of our help and I am hoping you can find it in your hearts to make a donation.  Every little bit helps.  Thanks you in advance for your support!
