New Laptop for Emmanuel - End SARS

My name is Emmanuel Steve a software developer in Nigeria, I was illegally harassed on my way to work by the Nigerian Police (SARS) on the 29th of September 2020.
I was stopped by SARS and they told me to come down from the vehicle, I came down without my bag pack. And they pulled me out from the vehicle and took my phone from my pocket, and I asked them to stop the cabman that he has my school bag.
Instead, they slapped me and told me to shut up, they invaded my privacy by going through my phone and reading all my messages, but they didn’t see anything that would incriminate me, they pushed me into their bus and they pulled my cloth inside their bus and tied my hands with my T-shirt, And I was told that my bailout is 100k.
And I asked them what I did , they began to beat me up and threw me into their cell and denied me calling anybody, until evening they began to see my mom's call and they answered my call and told her that I’m at their police station.
After everything she came and bailed me out and my bag pack with my documents and my laptop in it was gone by then.
Please I need assistance to get a new pc for development! My goal is to get a new Macbook pro so that I can continue my development education and career.
The $3500 goal covers the cost of a new 16" Macbook Pro and the cost to ship it. If we aren't able to raise the full amount we'll try to get the best laptop we can with whatever we are able to raise. Help Emmanuel get back to writing code!
