New business premises

Hi, my name is Emma and I am trying to raise funds to secure a new shop for my little business.

Due to unforseen and difficult circumstances, I have had to move out of business premises that I previously occupied.

I have found new premises, but have no savings. The last thing I want to do is resort to crowd funding, but a few friends and customers have suggested it is a good way to get the help needed. So here I am. Needs must.

I have managed to get the shop into storage, with thanks to my Mum who helped me with the van hire and cost of the storage unit.

The shop has been home to local and national makers, who sell their handmade items through us. For me, the business has been a lifeline. I have some physical and mental health issues that have made working tough, but the interactions with customers and being able to set my own pace has made work really rewarding. I feel quite odd not being able to get up and go to work every day with my little black cat, Dio. He brings warmth to a lot of people he meets.

I am aiming to fundraise to cover the first month's rent, a deposit, van hire (to move everything in to the new space) and also paint to decorate what I hope, will be a long term base. If funds allow, I would also like to sort some modest signage.
