My name is Peter Neumann and I'm married to Katie and daddy to Ryan (3) and Andrew (2).
I've been leading worship and developing worship teams for over 20 years. Being part of people coming alive as they worship Jesus and grow in their skills is very rewarding. Most musicians and leaders have way more God-given potential in them than they realize, so it's my passion to help coax and encourage that treasure out of them. Many great worship leaders, teachers, and musicians encouraged and taught me and now I love pouring into others.
Beyond developing the worship teams in our local church where I've been the worship pastor for 12 years, I started helping train other church and school worship teams and the invitations to do that have built steadily over the years.
I'd often return from teaching at a conference or one-shot event wishing the wonderful people I had just coached could come back to my church and be surrounded with strong musicians and technicians so the concepts could really sink in and be reinforced over time. So, I began dreaming about how to develop an online resource to virtually do just that!
Over the last year I've developed a 9 week worship training course called Worship Team Expedition with online video tutorials, devotionals, and discussion guides to help worship teams grow. There are video tutorials for leaders, singers, guitars, piano/keyboard, drums, bass guitar, and tech. A number of local churches have taken their teams through the program and seen their worship teams take significant spiritual, relational, and musical/technical steps forward. Now we're taking it to the next level- I'll be focusing my full time efforts on expanding this ministry! We want to upgrade the visual quality of our videos, graphics, and website to provide the best experience we can for all these wonderful worship teams. We also want to help scholarship churches that have a great desire and commitment to grow, but have limited resources. We envision specialized camps for worship leaders, training events all over the world, and many new resources for churches. Oh, and my family will need health insurance!
