Help the Nelson Nerds get to the FLL WORLD Championships!!

UPDATE: We had a great trip to the BC/Yukon FLL Championship in Vancouver, and we are so happy to announce that we WON! This means we get the amazing honour of representing BC and the Yukon in Houston, Texas, in mid-April at the 2025 FIRST Championship with teams from 67 countries. In fact, we'll be one of only five teams from all of Canada! We can't wait! This is a HUGE opportunity, and we appreciate your support so much! Thank you!

Hi! We’re Eric and Kasper, AKA the Nelson Nerds. We’re a competitive robotics team participating in the First Lego League Challenge, a STEM competition for kids ages 9-14. This program involves a Lego robot that you build and program as well as a research project based on this year’s theme, oceans. We recently won our regional qualifier in Kelowna, which means we advance to provincials in Vancouver! However, big travel means big travel costs. We’re creating this GoFundMe in order to help us go to Vancouver and do great things.
