My rescued dog was attacked and suffered a broken leg in the worst place, between her shoulder and elbow. Right now, surgery is the only real way to fix it. I already spent all of my money on the emergency room, and I’m asking for help so she can get the care she needs this week, before next Wednesday.

She cannot walk at all, and she can barely move because her nerves are also affected. She is on very strong medication, and it has been heartbreaking and depressing to watch this happen to a dog who normally runs around and plays all day. Seeing her like this has been incredibly hard.

If I cannot get the surgery done in time, I will have to take her back for more x-rays and bandage changes. I’ve been told that trying to guess with a cast can also become costly, and it still might not heal properly that way. Surgery is the most effective and cost-effective option because it will properly reset her leg so she can focus on healing. I believe they may need to place pins in the bone during the procedure.

Your support will help cover the surgery, the two-hour drive to the nearest surgeon because there are no surgeons where I live, a possible overnight stay, and the follow-up visits she will need afterward.
