Hi everyone, I never thought I'd be making this post, i hope'd I'd never have to utter the words "My dad has cancer"

My Dad, Cliff, was diagnosed with aggressive prostatic adenocarcinoma on December 12th 2025. On December 18th 2025 he will recieve his first injection of Leuprolide, a hormone injection to slow down the production of testosterone. This will hopefully slow the growth and spread of the cancer.

In January of 2026 he is scheduled for a PET scan to see if the cancer has spread anywhere. We will also find out the best treatment and course of action to move forward.

We are facing a very unknown future financially. With appointments in the city, Treatments, medical expenses, groceries and bills etc.

If you know Cliff, you know he is a proud hardworking man who would help you out in a pinch. Whether it be just a text or phone call asking his help or advice. Or driving miles to help a friend or family in need. And rarely ask anything in return or for help.

And if you know Cliff he would probably kill me knowing I have made this. But I also know how many people Cliff has made an impact on, at work or at the snowmobile club or anywhere else.

As most of you know this year has been brutal on our little family. Cliff has lost 2 brothers to cancer, a cousin and his mother in law. We've lost a beloved pet and i broke my arm, but yet we moved forward.

This diagnosis right before Christmas has caught us so off guard. He hasn't had any symptoms or felt pain. We hope that means we caught it early.
