Help bring local veggies to the Athens Pantry

The Athens Community Farm is raising funds to continue bringing high quality produce to Athens, NY by providing veggie shares from local farms to the Athens Community Food Pantry and Rivertown Senior Apartments.

Over the past two years, the community farm has worked with multiple local partners to deliver over 150 servings of fresh, local produce every week! Our current program concludes in November but we have the opportunity to extend this popular service through the winter your help. You may remember, we held a similar fundraiser last fall and raised even more than anticipated. Thank you to all past donors - let's do it again for 2022-2023!

For this winter season, we’ll be partnering with Black Horse Farm right here in Athens to provide 4+ additional months of produce to residents, enough each week for cooking and winter storage.

Volunteers from the Athens Community Farm will be picking up and delivering the boxes of produce each week but we’re asking for help to cover the cost of the shares. We’d love to raise funds for at least 5 full shares by Saturday, November 5th. The more we raise, the more we can share!
