Emergency Expenses
Donation protected
On early Monday morning, June 5, 2017, Paige’s water broke at 32 weeks gestation. She was transferred to St. Vincent’s Women’s Center by ambulance, from Schneck Medical Center. The plan was to keep Paige on bed rest and baby Dawson inside the womb until at least 34 weeks gestation to allow lung development and more time for baby to grow. She was given IV of antibiotics (to treat & prevent infection), (4) bags of Steroids (for Dawson’s lung development), and magnesium Sulfate (to stop preterm labor) and told that they would be there for at least a month. Unfortunately, Robby has no vacation time and had to file FMLA with no pay coming in for at least the next month so he could be there for his wife and baby. As we all know hospital stays, hotels, gas, and food are not cheap. Any donation would be appreciated and help relieve this burden from Paige and Robby to allow them to spend a happy and healthy time with their precious baby boy.
On Friday, June 9, 2017 Dawson Wade Cole entered this earth @ 6:42pm, weighing 4lbs, 5oz and 17 ½ inches long (not bad for a preemie huh). Mommy and baby are stable and doing well. Paige should be released this coming Monday or Tuesday. Unfortunately, Dawson will have to stay in the Nicu for the time being, possibly the next 4 weeks until he has mature lungs. On a good vibe he did graduate to the 2nd class Nicu post birth.
Thanks to everyone for your donation and caring heart.
