As some of you may know, I have been diagnosed with stage 4 Bowel cancer in 2020. I am planning to complete the inaugural Chris Hoy Tour de 4 on September the 7th 2025 raising funds for Maggies Aberdeen and Dundee

I truly believe that keeping active and fit helps with this fight and I agree with Sir Chris that despite that diagnosis the sense of achievement by completing an activity such as this helps with the mental aspects of dealing with cancer.

I plan to complete this 56 mile activity with my daughter and some friends as they too are actually dealing with my cancer diagnosis.
