My hobby that brings me joy and peace.

Hi, my name is Ben Schulte. Over the last 4 months I’ve been battling all sorts of medical issues, and we’re still unsure exactly what’s wrong with me. My neurologist is convinced that I have Marfan Syndrome, but won’t have confirmation until July 26th when I take my genetic test. I have severe neuropathy in my feet and I’m unable to be on them for any length of time. I’m also suffering from gastrointestinal issues and have spent 11 days hospitalized, but never received any diagnosis. All they knew is that my colon, parts of my small and large intestine are severely inflamed. I also have an unknown mass to the left of my colon. My GI doctors seem very concerned, and I’m have a colonoscopy and endoscopy done next Tuesday the 17th. Each day is a new battle. Some days I feel ok, but other days I have fevers and can’t hardly move about the house. I’ve been on a liquid diet for the last 2 weeks because my gut has a hard time processing solid foods. It’s been very stressful and I’ve had lots of anxiety through it all. However, God has blessed us very much, and we've had our needs met at every turn. I’m very thankful that we’ve gone without need, and my wife has gone above and beyond helping me and the children, because there is a lot of things I physically cannot do. She is my superhero, and she deserves mother and wife of the year awards.

my passion is playing on my bass guitar, and it brings me so much peace and joy. I’ve been playing it daily over the last few months because it’s one of the few things that I can still do that I enjoy. I don’t like getting a go fund me asking people to donate money for a hobby of mine, but I figured I’d throw it out there. My birthday is next month and I usually don’t ask for anything. I just know that having a new amp like this would give me even more peace, joy and happiness. So, if anyone would like to help me, I would be incredibly great full. I spend countless hours learning new songs, and I play bass guitar on my worship team. Although the last few months it’s been very difficult to do so. Its sounds silly, but I love playing on my bass, and it’s a very important thing to me because of all the things going wrong, it’s one thing I still have control over.

thank you so much if you read this, and thank you for bearing with my story. I just hope and pray that I can get back to normal and healthy soon. https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/RumStudio40--fender-rumble-studio-1x10-inch-40-watt-bass-combo
