My friend’s teen son who was robbed & shot

My neighbor friend’s (Nekiesha Morgan) son (Duke) went with his best friend to play a basketball game & afterward stopped at a store to get a drink on their way home; they were then ambushed by a couple of adult males who were attempting to steal the car & rob these 2 boys. The men shot up the whole car & shot my friend’s son in the leg. The boys were able to get away & hide until TPD & first responders got there. Then men stole Duke’s wallet, cash, iPhone & a few other belongings from the car. I am creating this account to help raise the money to replace those things that were stolen & help with some of the medical expenses that haven’t been covered by insurance. 

He’s such a good kid, never been in trouble, well mannered, great student & has such a great, hard working mama, so I would really love it if we could help him recover from this by showing him & his family the love & compassion they they truly deserve. I have blurred his photo out because the men who did this to him haven’t been caught yet & I don’t want to compromise his safety in anyway.
