We meet the people we're supposed to when the time is just right.
While escaping to Tulum, MX, I had the opportunity to befriend someone who could not have come at a more perfect time, in my life. During my stay, my friend, Ezekiel Gonzalez, showed me just how important it is to be open to allowing people in and embracing the kindness of another.
Ezekiel showed me true kindness, friendship, strength and genuinely stepped up for a perfect stranger, and I am proud and thankful to call him my brother.
True to form, Ezekiel did not just take care of me while I was in Tulum. He is also a constant caretaker to his mother, Nereida, who is currently battling a severe lower back condition that is not only extremely painful, it also has left her bedridden...
Ezekiel is one of the most caring, generous, loving and deserving individuals that I have come across and this is why that I call upon you to do what you can to assist in donating towards the medical care of his mother.
She is currently eligible for a surgery in Mexico City, MX; however, this surgery will cost $80,0000 pesos (around $4,200 USD), and Ezekiel and his mother will still need to be transported to Mexico City for this surgery to be performed. To ensure the smoothest transition for Nereida, her surgery, her recovery, and to instill, again, the reminder of how beautiful life SHOULD be, I am graciously asking for you to help me meet our goal of $8,500. I think this is low enough that I will personally cover any additional costs that we do not meet. Many individuals, including myself, generously donate constantly to relief programs, fundraising, etc, and we often times do not see what happens after that check clears. Help me show this family a selfless act of kindness that we all deserve as human beings. See the good that your contribution will bring to this family.
