My Beautiful Cousin Claires Funeral

Hey, just want to say thank you for taking the time to read this – As some of you may know my family are currently facing the loss of my beautiful, kind, funny and abundantly precious cousin Claire Hamilton who passed away suddenly on the 19.11.2022 at the age of 42.

For the sake of her immediate family and her 11 year old daughter who she has left behind– I won’t go into the detail of the cause of her death however I will tell you a little bit about her… My cousin Claire was a fabulous, elegant, flamboyant lady – she was gorgeous both inside and out, and touched the hearts of everyone she met. She was the cool cousin who let us try on her heels when we was little, and who gave us all her hand me down clothes that we would all argue over because we thought she was the most coolest and wanted to be just like her. We all looked up to her. She loved her family and friends, loved having fun and left happiness and love wherever she went. And she was the coolest. She was glamorous personified, in fact when describing her to anyone we would say ‘you know Claire, my glamorous cousin’ and she loved any excuse to get her nails and hair done and throw on her glad rags. But on the flip side give her a pair of PJs some slippers and a cup of tea and some cheesy films on the tv she would be in her element. Cheese was Claire’s favourite, cheesy 80’s music, cheesy movies she absolutely loved cheese and she could recite Dirty Dancing start to finish, off the top of her head. Claire was generous by nature, having an abundance of Clothes and and shoes She would always offer up her wardrobe if we ever Complained we didn’t have anything to wear. Claire was a dancer when she was little and she carried this love throughout her short life, she would be the last one standing on the dance floor always, shoes at the side arms in the air singing her beautiful little heart out. She was a sweetheart and she never spoke badly of anyone she was always so warm and loving to everyone she encountered. The bottom line is when I was little I always thought ‘when I grow up I want to be like Claire’

Her death coming so suddenly and abruptly - so near to Christmas and with the worlds current climate and funerals being as expensive as it is we’re asking for anything you can donate no matter how small - and as i said with the current climate we understand money is tight - even a share of this page will help.

We want to give claire a send off that shows her how loved she was, how many hearts she touched and how deeply she will be missed.
