Muslim Connection Post-Production Funding

Donation protected

Salams and hello everyone,

I'm Tarek Chamkhi, a documentary director from Perth, Western Australia. Around 5 years ago I've used this platform to fundraise some cash to finish my debut documentary: G'day Cameleers which since has been released and is available now on Al Chemiya and Amazon Prime (UK and USA) platforms. I'm very grateful for all donations and sponsorship has been made at the time to make my dream come true.

Today I'm trying to finish a similar project where we managed to execute most of the fieldwork filming; due thanks to some of our amazing sponsors who helped to cover the cost, but I stuck to finish the post-production of this film and I need your help!

Post-production includes weeks of editing, graphic design, retaking some interviews or additional interviews, original scores and music, copyrights, marketing, etc.

As independent filmmakers and like all our peers, we cannot fund our entire filming project by ourselves; and such aspiring content desperately needs support and collaboration in the absence of any official support and major fund.

Furthermore, to add difficulties to our mission, we found that we are not like others in terms of what we need to achieve: spreading awareness about Islam and Muslims worldwide and helping to combat islamophobia, racism, prejudice, and stereotypes. This direction makes our mission much more difficult and challenging, you may guess.

Your support even with $50 will bring us one step closer to our fund target.

ABOUT MUSLIM CONNECTION: DOCO-SERIES:

This documentary features the British national and the International life coach and motivational speaker Dr. Munther Elharm through his fascinating 11000 km road trip across 6 Australian states and territories in November 2022 to chase the Muslim connection Down Under, which started hundreds of years ago from the pre-European Makassan connection with the first Australian at the top North shores of Australia, through the Muslim Cameleers, the pioneers of the inland from the 1860s to nowadays contemporary Australian Muslim communities throughout the continent. He visited cemeteries, mosques, and communities, and experienced breathtaking landscapes and scenery from Melbourne to Sydney, Canberra, Broken Hill, Farina, Marree, Beltana, Port Augusta, Coober Pedy, Uluru, Kings Canyons, Alice Springs, Catherine, Wyndham, Broome, Carnarvon, Geraldton, and Perth.

This documentary is a pilot episode for a Doco-Series titled: 'Muslim Connection' which celebrates the livelihood and culture of Muslim minorities and nations across the globe.
