Hi, my name is Dan Edwards and for the last 2 years I have been buying & donating football kits, clothing & children’s toys to the Mukuru Promotional Centre which is based over in Nairobi, Kenya.
At the end of April 2024 I will be running a football camp for a week with the help of Christina who has been working with & visiting the centre for the last 4 years.
During the week we would like to provide the boys with dinner each night, donate food supplies and buy some essentials for the boys.
The rehab centre is for boys as young as 5 who were living on the streets of Nairobi, often orphaned and have no home. The centre provides a home for the boys, education and their favourite thing, football!
Due to not having a registered charity number all funds will be sent to myself and then used for the boys. Receipts of all spending will be published on here so that every penny is counted for. Any extra funding will be sent to the charity to continue supporting the boys.
I’ve travelled around the world coaching children & know the difference that football can make, so let’s support the boys the way they deserve! ⚽️
