Mr. Scout the Tripawd

Hi friends! From the beginning we knew Scout was going to be an adventure with his spunk and curious personality. Little did we know how interesting life was about to get! Our sweet pupper was hit by a car last Tuesday night and it has been an emotional rollercoaster ever since. His back right leg was severely injured in the accident, leaving his foot and ankle crushed.  After spending the night at the emergency vet and consulting with a few specialists we were advised the best course of action would be to have the leg amputated. After weighing our options and some serious praying we decided to move forward with the surgery. Mr. Scout successfully made it through the surgery today and we are so happy to have our baby back on the road to recovery! We were willing to do whatever it took to give our little guy the best life possible. That being said, the medical bills have begun to add up and we are only in the beginning stages of his recovery. Our dogs are our lives and we would do anything and everything for them, and now we reach out to our friends and family for your support.
