Mr. Godfrey's Funeral Fund

Hello everyone,

We have found out that Mr. Hugh Godfrey (1930-2022) passed away on July 5, 2022. We are asking for your help to give him a memorial service we can all remember.

 

Hugh Godfrey was born on July 19, 1930. He loved his wife Carol, Kids, and Grandkids. He enjoyed hunting, looking for deer, and being a bright light on anyone's life he encountered.

 

Godfrey started Godfrey's Poultry and Eggs at the Flint Farmers' Market on March 1, 1964. He sold 13 dozen eggs on the very first day, and his company only went up from there. We continue to carry on his legacy to this day, and Hugh will always have a special place in our hearts; he viewed all of his customers as one big family.

 

His spirit will always be with us at the market. If you see an egg fall or a popcorn kernel on the floor, you know he's around.
