I am starting this page on behalf of family. My Great Aunt and Uncle tragically lost their house and belongings in a fire on Monday 8th August in Crayford. They lost everything they own and all their sentimental items that they had in there home, leaving them with just the clothes they were wearing at the time.
They are 84 years of age and need to start all over again when they have been rehoused. By starting this page the family are hoping to gather a little something to help get then back on their feet with clothing and furnishings.
If you are able to donate a little something to get them back on the feet the family would appreciate this very much. Their Sons and Daughters are doing all they can to help them but anything extra would be a huge help.
Mr and Mrs Dowdings daughter posted yesterday on social media:
"Feeling totally devastated my poor mum and dads house went up in flames last night including 3 others my parents have lost everything they are 84 years of age and the most amazing special parents you could ever ask to have there whole life and memories gone up in smoke unfortunately they had no house insurance an age generation thing our family now have to try and help them rebuild there lives the only thankful thing is they survived the ordeal my thoughts are with the other families that have lost their homes."
