Our longtime friends Angie and Robert and their two boys had planned last spring to come with us on a wonderful family ski vacation to Colorado over New Years this winter.  A few weeks ago in late November, Angie was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer in her lymphatic system as well as affecting her lungs. As a breast cancer survivor already, the family and doctors knew the severity of the diagnosis and she was admitted within a week to begin treatments.

Here is an update from Angie:
I have begun chemo but they have let me know that it is not curative - only to help me breath better and hopefully extend what time I have remaining. We are grateful for each day. Thankful for a roof over our heads and food to eat. The money will be used to augment healing with alternative options. I'm seeing a functional Dr to work on detox, nutrition, reducing inflammation, increasing oxygenation, etc. We appreciate anything you'd like to give and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
