Moose reached his goal! Thank you all SO much❤️

Hi everyone, our Moosey boy is in need of Fomepizole treatment which is a antifreeze antidote to keep him alive. Unfortunately this was a complete freak accident and he suddenly fell ill and was sent to emergency care. Yesterday 2/28/2023 at around 3pm we noticed he was extremely drowsy and seemed almost drunk, refusing to eat and drink and when we took him outside in the yard where he typically is extremely excited and playful he just sat in the grass and was very wobbly and shaking and nodding in and out of consciousness. I called the vet immediately and rushed him in to Seven Hills Pet Clinic where they ran several tests, did an X-ray and treated him to the best of their abilities. Unfortunately they did not offer overnight care so from there I transferred him to the Care Center which is a emergency vet where he is currently receiving intensive care. After several more tests including blood tests they found that he was positive for ethylene glycol which showed that he had antifreeze toxicity and without the proper treatment could cause him severe kidney damage ultimately leading to death. We’ve already had him hospitalized for 24 hours and his tests are still showing positive for the antifreeze and we need additional 48-72 hours in hospital to flush his kidneys. The vet bills and emergency care has already cost us $2,266 and for additional treatment is quoted an estimation of over $7500 this is a large sum of money we desperately and urgently need to save our mini weenies life, and we would really appreciate as much help as possible. We miss him being happy, healthy and active and can’t wait for him to get better so he can go out and play again. As most of you know we have two young children and with the times being the way it is, it’s already hard enough to survive and we just want to find a way to help our puppy pull through. All we wanted was to add a four legged baby to love to our happy family, this is all very traumatic.
