Montana Pickens Family Fund

This is Steven, a friend of John and Lisa and a part of "Team Montana." If you knew Montana Pickens, you saw Jesus in her. She has been a true example of allowing God to shine through the darkest of times. After a long battle with cancer, her teenage body can take no more. She is resting peacefully in her final hours on this earth with us.


"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." -Jesus

Jesus has readied her Heavenly home. Now she is being prepared to arrive in the waiting, outstretched arms of her Savior. What a moment that will be! We grieve for John, Lisa, her siblings and the entire extended Pickens Family, but they are entrusting Montana to her Heavenly Father. And we will, too. Montana, we will miss you. We already do.

As an expression of love and care for Montana, John, Lisa and the whole Pickens Family we have set up this fundraiser so we can each do our part to help relieve the stress and pressure of mounting medical expenses not covered by insurance, travel costs, living expenses, the upcoming memorial service, and the many financial "surprises" to come over the next several months. Those of you who've lost loved ones through long battles with terminal illness can relate.
