Moms emergency heart surgery recovery

Hello friends and family as most of you know I am Kendelle and I’m doing this fundraiser for my mother Laurie Lea . On Thursday 09/29 my mother was having severe migraines and asked her husband to take her to emergency because it was becoming unbearable. Shortly after arriving they took her in for a CAT scan where they quickly realizes this was much more serious then a case of migraines. Laurie had a aortic dissection, A tear in the inner layer of the large blood vessel branching off the heart, preventing blood to circulate properly to her brain . With in hours she was airlifted to Stanford hospital ,7 hours from her and our families home, where they specialize in this procedure . There she was rushed into surgery doing a full bypass on her lungs and heart . As you can all imagine a rough day.I am asking today for help her insurance will not cover all of her procedures and the emergency helicopter lift and we still have to get my mom home for a long recovery if there is in anyway you can help The proceeds will be used for bills food travel and other medical expenses am just trying to get my mom home with as little stress as possible so she can work on just being the amazing women we all love again.
