Pages for Patients
Donation protected
The goal of this book is to allow the reader (parents and small children) the opportunity to learn about the world and to promote conversations between parents and children. Ultimately, we want to inspire children to see places all around the world, ranging from from the Taj Mahal to the Eiffel Tower and everything in between. We’ve combined student photography of various landmarks as well as quirky illustrations to make it very kid friendly and light hearted. The main character of the book is a little boy who is ill, as well as his quirky pet chameleon. His imagination allows him to explore and experience different cultures around the world. By the end of the book, the boy has obtained many souvenirs from all of the locations he has visited and tells the nurses about all of his incredible adventures. We want to give the children who spend most of their time in hospitals an escape from their current circumstances and give them hope to see the world someday. In the end, all proceeds from book sales will be donated to an organization that benefits pediatric patients. Pages for Patients has the power to inspire and educate readers about the world around them while benefiting children in the process.
