MISSION:ESU British 3 Peaks Challenge
Donación protegida
In September 2025, a team of young people from Mission:ESU—part of the 123rd Carlisle Scout Group—will take on the iconic UK 3 Peaks Challenge: climbing Snowdon, Scafell Pike, and Ben Nevis, the highest peaks in Wales, England, and Scotland, within just 24 hours.
But this is about more than mountains.
Our Explorers, aged 14–18, come from all walks of life and have committed over a year to training, learning outdoor skills, and developing the determination, resilience, and teamwork to complete one of the UK’s toughest physical challenges. They’ve pushed themselves far beyond their comfort zones—and now they’re pushing to raise vital funds too.
We’re aiming to raise £3,000 to support:
Challenge transport, food, and essential kit
Training trips and safety equipment
Ensuring no young person is left behind due to cost
And most importantly — to help fund new adventure equipment like stand-up paddleboards, which the Explorers are eager to use as part of their water safety and skills programme
We want our Scouts and Explorers to continue having meaningful, exciting, and skill-building outdoor experiences—and with your help, we can make that possible.
Support from this fundraiser will benefit both Mission:ESU and the wider 123rd Carlisle Scout Group, which serves young people from across Carlisle, including those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Please donate, share, and help us show what young people can achieve when they’re given the chance.
