Levi Malone is an exceptional missionary dedicated to bringing humanitarian efforts to the most remote parts of East Africa. At 19 years old, Levi traveled to Kenya, where he witnessed indigenous people's harsh and dangerous realities for the first time. He promptly began a nonprofit organization called Light of East Africa Missions. Levi has worked tirelessly in remote regions of East Africa solidifying new church plants, overseeing the distribution of needed goods, and successfully monitoring the drilling of freshwater wells.

Levi's mission is critical to solving serious issues afflicting communities around Africa. He is helping many people, and now he needs our help. Since beginning his mission in Africa, he's been without a vehicle. The places he and his team work are extremely remote, oftentimes dangerous, and many hours from any source of food and water resupply. Thus, we are raising money for him to purchase a dependable car so that he can do good work without worrying about transportation or the need for car repairs.

The car will be used for everything ministry related, including traveling to the mission sites, carrying their luggage and food supplies, helping them ferry water to their camp in various villages, carrying sick or injured locals to hospitals or clinics for treatment, and so much more. Having a car will help Levi and his team accomplish the work of spreading the gospel and planting strong churches in each place they work.

I have been involved in cross-cultural missions for more than 30 years, ministering in more than 40 countries, and working among unreached people groups in Africa and Asia. In all my decades in ministry, I have never met a missionary quite like Levi Malone, who for years, has labored on his own in some of the harshest conditions you will ever find. I have myself ventured into the far reaches of northern Kenya where Levi ministers among the Turkana, and I stand amazed at this young man’s commitment and love for these people.

Levi allows no challenge to stop him and he is dauntless in his efforts to share Jesus Christ with the most isolated, desperate of people. He effectively combines the gospel message with humanitarian programs that bring life-saving relief to the poorest people on the planet. Levi has also developed a remarkable team of indigenous leaders who accompany him on these forays into the untouched regions in Kenya. And now, we have an opportunity to help Levi become even more effective in his outreach. Levi desperately needs a reliable, rugged four-wheel drive vehicle. Rather than journeying for a week with few resources, we can help him arrive within a day, allowing him to remain with the people for weeks at a time.
