I created this GoFundMe for my daughter Lawrin.  Lawrin has been a straight A student since she could make grades. I have never forced her to perform at such a high level, but she has always done so. She scored the highest SAT score in her class, totaling 1510.  Last fall she  was nominated and selected to attend the NSLC. (National Student Leadership Conference) The total amount due is $3,195.00.  Students attending this conference receives a Certificate of Achievement, in addition to an official program transcript documenting the extensive work performed.  They also receive a letter of recommendation that may be submitted to colleges as part of their admissions process.  This is an outstanding opportunity and I am determined for Lawrin to attend this event.  This event takes place in June of 2019.   I am proud of this young lady and God blessed me with the responsibility of being her mom. We have had our disagreements but I could not ask for a better daughter.  She is growing into a strong black woman and this is a life shifting  experience.   She has received letters from Harvard, Princeton, Colgate, Syracuse and many, many more. She has not began her application process but this will only help when she does begin completing applications.   Again, I have completed the first two payments to satisfy this expense.  I am reaching out for assistance with the remaining balance & her round trip ticket.  Having a teenager can be extremely expensive with two parents in the home.  Me being a single parent with this scholar, things can become extremely expensive.   Would you mind assisting me to get my daughter a prestige higher learning opportunity?  She will gain skills that will not only benefit her in college but for her future career of choice which happens to be Journalism.
