Minnie Strong Against Cancer

My wife, Minerva, is a wonderful mother to my two daughters, 2-year-old Perla Celeste & 5-month-old Ruby Athena.  However, my wife [was] diagnosed with cancer, and my daughters are too young to understand.

One of the best teachers in Dr. Mendiola Elementary, she teaches 4th Grade math. I have seen how her compassion for all of her students and the passion she has for teaching brings those young minds from uninterest and low grades to eager curiosity with passing grades.

I am one of the luckiest persons for having her by my side. I am a teacher, too. However, I admire her and her dedication to both her "kiddos" at school and our children.

After the birth of our second born, we no longer have days off. Every day we don't work costs us $200+ each of us. Hospital bills just keep growing and growing. Now, I know there are more bills coming up. I am now working a second job.

CANCER is a word that shocked us the first time we heard it. Two of her uncles and one of mine are now gone due to some type of cancer. But, we remain positive because one of my uncles, Priciliano, who was terminally ill with a 0% chance of recovery, is now found in remission.  Her odds of survival are strong, but we need at least $10K now to continue going and the remaining soon, thereafter. 

This is just a minimum to get us going. We will need more to get us out of this, but with your help and my second job, we can get through this.
