Calling all tuning businesses, BMW/MINI dealers, MINI related businesses, MINI magazines & MINI owners - we need your help to try and finish the 2012 Time Attack season, a season we've been leading since round one.
MiniTorque Racing, which is made up of
MINI enthusiasts brought together from the MiniTorque.com forum, has
been joined by numerous forum members from all over the UK/Europe this year who
have travelled to help support the team and the little MINI as it battles
against some of the fastest FWD cars in the UK series of Time
Attack.
However, following an engine fire at
Anglesey due to a defective part, our budget for the season has been wiped out
trying to fix the MINI and we are now £1,500 short of being able to finish the
season, having led the championship all year. We are therefore
asking all our sponsors and MiniTorque members to help us to fix the MINI so we
can try and bring the championship trophy home at Snetterton on September
22nd/23rd.
In return for donating you could win various prizes as set out above, or if donating as a company at £100 or above your company name/logo on the car and/or use of the car at a trade show event of your choice. All company donations will be blogged via MiniTorque.com
(which receives 4,600 unique visits per day), Facebook (over 1,300 likes) and
Twitter. We will also invite all donators of £100 or more to the Bedford
Autodrome circuit for some passenger hot laps over the
winter.
If we reach the target that will enable us to
finish the MINI ready to compete at Snetterton, we will also send all donators
personalised photographs of the MINI with your name/company on show and of the
MINI in action at Snetterton.
We
don't want to be negative, but if we don't reach the target, everyone
will get their money back minus the gofundme and paypal fees, but let's not
think about that. Let's
team up and make it happen.
Thanks for reading and for your
support.
