Miller’s Battle

Hi, My name is Kellie and if you know me you know that the thing I love most in this world is my 4 year old Shepherd, Miller.

After Christmas, I found a swollen lymph node in his neck. I took him to the vet where they were suspicious it was lymphoma. After many tests they were able to diagnose him with cancer. Although we still have a few more tests to run to see which treatment is best and he is in good spirits, it could turn at any time. I am a single girl, living on my own and working a full time and a part time job, I just started grad school, and even with the help of my loving parents it still is not enough to cover the vet bills moving forward. My plan with treatment is to make sure Miller is as happy and as comfortable as possible and will make decisions as he progresses through the next few months. Dog lymphoma is a well studied cancer and with the help of my vet we are working to see which options are the best for him and me (mentally and financially.)

I understand that a $5,000 goal is a lot and unfortunately I am not sure if it will cover the entire cost but it is a start. While I am not sure the entire cost this $5,000 will help cover the bloodwork, ultrasounds and x-rays, biopsies, medication, and any other further costs for treatment that Miller may need.
