Michael was involved in a head on collision on his way to work Friday morning. He left for work that morning feeling very happy because his longtime girlfriend was also feeling better for the first time in a month. She was diagnosed with stage 2 ; triple negative breast cancer several months ago. Since then she has undergone a double mastectomy and is taking chemo therapy. They also have two children ten and twelve. 
Although he has health insurance he has a job with no benefits. Therefore after Monday the 11th; he will have no income. He will be out of work for at the least two months and maybe longer because he broke his back in the accident. He also has no transportation because his vehicle is more than likely totaled. He is also a type 1 diabetic, and stress only makes things much worse as you can imagine. 
He and his family need some help until he can get back on his feet. 
He would greatly appreciate any contribution as he recovers.
