Mike is fighting rectal cancer

Mike was diagnosed with stage 3 rectal cancer in April 2017 he had to have a permanent colostomy bag which was done in April he has had a round of radiation and oral chemo treatments last year mike had surgery to remove his rectum and anus in September of last year which he spent 12 days in the hospital as he had a major infection at the time they were removing his anus and rectum when he came home he wasn’t here for more then 24 hours and had to be rushed by ambulance to the ER as he was bleeding one of the stitches ended up getting a small vein or artery which he lost 10% of his blood and ended up with a 1 pound blood clot he didn’t need a blood transfusion he came home that same day since then it took him longer to recover from the major surgery as he had home health nurses come in to help out for 4 months in January of this year he was cleared to start his aggressive chemo treatments which he gets every 2 weeks and comes home with a iv pump for 46 hours and have to go back and have it disconnected he will be getting this till the end of July through all of this he gets really nauseous fatigued and really weak he had to stop working last April and has no income coming in money is extremely tight and hoping to raise money to help with gas rent electric we are in the process of getting him on social security disability and waiting for a hearing in front of the judge and that is a year and a half out the only income we have coming in is frans social security disability and is enough to pay maybe rent any amount that we can raise will help I want to take the stress off of mike thank you for taking the time to read this
