Mihaela Coman is 36 years old and she’s from Calarasi, Romania. Ever since she was born, she’s had health issues, and at 12 years old, she was the most affected when she found out she suffered from Kyphoscoliosis. Sadly, because of her financial situation she could never afford to treat herself in any way. Her parents died a few years ago, and we believe that we are the ones that can give Mihaela the help she needs, so she can have the surgery that she’s been dreaming about ever since she was a child, and which, will change her life.
Kyphoscoliosis is a double deformation of the vertebral column characterized by a lateral deviation (scoliosis) and a diversion with posterior convexity (kyphosis).
➡ Her condition of Kyphoscoliosis isn’t just deforming her spine, in time it started to affect her respiratory system (her lungs being squeezed by her deformed spine and even her heart being pressed her ribs). Mihaela never asked anyone for money for the medical investigations, but she does her best trying to earn money in any way she can, given her medical condition, right now being a babysitter.
➡ The medical investigations she has done gave her a clear verdict of a surgery that will require medical rods in her body, which will improve her health very much. Still, this surgery is expensive, the price of it being 30.000€.

Mihaela Coman este din Judetul Calarasi si are 36 de ani. Inca de cand s-a nascut a avut probleme de sanatate dar cel mai mult a fost afectata la varsta de 12 ani cand a descoperit ca sufera de Cifo-Scolioza. Din cauza situatiei financiare nu si-a permis sa se trateze in nici un fel. Parintii ei sunt decedati de cativa ani, si cred ca noi putem sa ii daruim Mihaelei ajutorul necesar pentru a putea face aceasta operatie la care viseaza de cand era copil si care o sa ii schimbe viata.
Cifoscolioza este o deficienta combinata a coloanei vertebrale, rezultata din asocierea incurbarii colanei in plan frontal, scolioza, si cea in plan sagital, cifoza. Scolioza agraveaza cifoza prin asimetria functionala a muschilor spatelui.
Boala ei cifo-scolioza nu este doar ceva care are un aspect de deformarea coloanei, este mult mai complexa, pentru ca in timp a ajuns sa ii afecteze respiratia (plamanii fiind apasati de coloana deformata, chiar si inima fiind stransa intre coaste). Mihaela nu a indraznit niciodata sa ceara bani cuiva sa isi faca investigatiile medicale, si desi nu are drept de munca, fiind incadrata in grad accentuat de handicap, totusi ea face babysitting pentru a-si castiga existenta.
➡ Investigatiile care le-a facut i-au dat verdictul clar al unei operatii ce implica niste tije, care ii vor imbunatatii considerabil starea de sanatate. Si totusi, aceasta operatie este costisitoare, ridicandu-se la 30.000€.
➡ Situatia este destul de URGENTA. Nivelul de respiratie al Mihaelei este 50% fața de un om normal. Asa ca va rog sa facem posibila operatia Mihaelei, indraznesc prin credinta ca sa putem strange banii pana la finalul anului acesta, 2019.
