Hello everyone,
It is with great hope, optimism, and support that we rally around Miguel Castillo, Sally, Tony, and Emmy in this very difficult time.
Recently Miguel was diagnosed with Blue Cell Sarcoma. A very rare form of Cancer. He has already had surgery once to remove as much of the tumor as possible. His team of doctors have decided it is in the best interest of care to start him on a very aggressive radiation and chemotherapy regiment. They believe the cancer is in the bone(Spinal chord) which would answer many questions as why his left foot has issue functioning at this moment.
Miguel is a retired military veteran, serving in both the United states Marine Corp as well as the United States Air force. He has deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom numerous times while serving in both services.
Miguel is a member of the Toledo Fire Department and is currently unable to work due to his illness. It is with great hope that you will assist us in helping the Castillo family out while they are all trying to move forward with treatment and recovery.
As most of us could agree. Cancer grants no waivers, and has a tendency to impact many of peoples live directly and indirectly. We are looking for donations to assist the Castillo family with medical expenses, and the obvious expenses that come with cancer i.e.... daily expenses, time of work, travel expenses, child expenses etc. the list is endless.
