In June of this year Rachel and Mark Macholl found out by a fluke, literally a slip in the tub, that their youngest of three sons, 4 year old Mickey, had a malignant tumor the size of a softball in his abdomen attached to his adrenal gland. It was a whirlwind of tests and then the surgery to remove the tumor. After many prayers and good thoughts, Mickey appeared to be cancer free! Celebrations ensued, until this week when Mickey began to complain about stomach pains. Well, unfortunately they received the news yesterday that the neuroblastoma has returned. They found masses in his abdomen, near his spine and kidney. Rachel is a dance instructor and Mark travels for work, both are unable to do their jobs and obviously still have financial responsibilities. They are such a wonderful and loving family. It would be so nice if we could all give back just a fraction of what they have given to so many. Any amount you can donate will help ease their financial burden during such a stressful time.
